On the light side I just attended my 4th practice and focused on LWFD. I set a new PR in LFWD and am now up to 37ft. I and one other guy paired off on LWFD and went back to back till we could hardly swing the weight.
I have a light practice on Saturday then first competition on Sunday. I hope to have atleast one new PR to report.
66 feet in your first workout with the 16 pound hammer...nothing wrong with that! I've got guys who've been working for a month, and they're just getting into the 60's, now. 37 feet in the LWFD....good stuff. I spent my whole first season right about there, and then my second season knocking on the door of 40, but not quite getting in.
Rip it up at your first Games and HAVE FUN!
