I don't throw a feather in my bonnet to be ostentatious or to throw it in people's faces, I wear it at certain Scottish events because it is my official rank, and I am proud of it! Rightly so! I am a law enforcement officer-Missouri State Highway Patrol-if someone wishes to arrest me because they see me wearing one eagle feather in my balmoral, by all means, let them try! HA!

Cheers gents,
I find it hard to believe that a sworn law enforcement officer would be so self rightous as to brag that he is violating a law for which there is a $25,000 fine. I am also surprised that other members of the forum support such overt lawlessness. The "eagle feather law" was created to assist in protecting an endagered species, not as a means to make your life difficult, no matter how much money you have spent.
I encourage the moderators to remove these posts that blatantly encourage and support the commission of a felony in the United States. I also suggest that someone copy this post and forward it to the US Fish and Wildlife Service so that it might be used as the basis for a search warrant.
