The thing here that I am trying to get across is that it is not the hanger that is the problem.

I can hang a kilt even with cheap, free, hangers. I can use wooden pants hangers. I can use skirt hangers that I steal from my wife.

I have tried about every hanger available. Even those supposedly designed specifically for kilts.

Why spend more money on some special hanger when almost any hanger will work if you just put the kilt on it in a way that the hanger supports the weight of the kilt and is not over three or four layers of pleats.

Take any two old hangers you have in your closet. They can be spring clips, wooden bars, or metal teeth. Hang the kilt as I show in the tutorial and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

By the way, the Kilt I am using in the pictures is a 16oz Tewksbury Tank. It weighs in at just over four pounds. If I can hang that kilt, with this method, on cheap free hangers, you can hang any kilt.
