On a vendor's stall at New Hampshire games I spotted a belt which looked to be a good match for my new Paisley kilt but was too short and had a buckle which I did not like. I needed a belt made up in my size and fitted with a suitable buckle which I also chose. After a remarkably short Jones the belt and buckle arrived today. The belt is made by Heather M. Jaccoma of MacKenzie Couture Accessories www.mackenziebelts.com from Cumberland, Maine. The belt pattern is described as peacock green, although it can be reversed and worn as plain green and the buckle is a miniature of a Viking warrior's oval shield.
The belt and buckle tone in well with the Paisley kilt.
Trying on the kilt and belt together also provided an opportunity to see how this kilt would look with the more formal shirt and tie which I had been wearing earlier in the day to the air museum along with my Royal Air Force tartan kilt.
