    Deer hide sporran

    Here a sporran I made. I had some questions about how to attach the hair-on deer hide. I received a few very helpful suggestions here:http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...an-help-61949/
    That link also shows some WIP pics. This thing took almost a week to complete. I worked on it 2-4 hours every night. It should not have taken that long, but I wanted to get everything just right and not just "good'nuf". I did not have too much of a plan other than the shape. All in all, I am happy with how it turned out.
    The particulars: I utilized the parts of 2 deer(hair and lining) 1 cow(front and back of sporran body) 1 kangaroo (gusset, edging) and 1 horse (hair tassles).
