At a friend's wedding
Saturday morning, (10/23) we attended the wedding of our friend Wanda, the last single woman in my wife's motorcycle club...
The wedding was at the 1936 Burkeshire Plantation, a restored antebellum style house in Conroe, about 60 miles North of Houston.

It was a simple (and fast) ceremony, the wedding chapel is in one of the outbuildings on the grounds, likely an old garage.

Here's Shelley and I witnessing the event.

Here's me with our friend Jill, their "official photographer" took my picture a few times... Traditionalists, please note the tie!

Here's the front of the Burkeshire house, (The 'big house' as we call them down here)
The first floor of the home is set up for receptions and dinners etc, the second floor is restored to the 1930s styles, and the third floor (attic) is a virtual museum with a wide collection of memorabilia, old toys and militaria from the 30's, 40's, and 50's.

Hey! some Highlanders;

I had to leave to go to work, or I would still be in that attic!
On the way out, Shelley wanted to take some pictures of cars for "comparison purposes"

The wedding limo...

and my car, which is much cooler IMO, though my wife disagrees!
