Kilt #2 Leslie Tartan
Hi All,
Here's a couple pix of the second hand-stitched kilt I've made so far, this one for a good friend who's notoriously camera shy. Thus, the kilt only modeling pix.
I'm feeling quite a bit more confident now and ready to tackle my most ambitious project, yet,... have been learning to make hand made kilts in order to make a kilt from my own family tartan (MacArthur) - fabric that I actually spun, plied the yarn, dyed, and wove into kilting cloth over the last 3 years, or so. It's a long story that I won't bore you all with, but this is the final stretch, at last. I hope to finish it up around new year's! Will keep you posted.
Hope all your holidays are warm and merry.
Best,
Doug
