I have a WW1 1913 No1 Mk3-I believe the "wandering Zero" issue was a rifling thing-I have the old Metford variable rifling in mine-and am required to handload using Woodleigh bullets and IMR powder. Check your rifling twist, the ballistics of the ammunition from the era (including bullet diameter-mine takes .312", and every dang factory manuf only has .311") After figuring all of this out...I can put 6 bullets in a 1" hole at 100 yards.
