Pressing my kilt
I have been keeping my kilt in great shape following the advice given here, steaming from time to time always hanging it back up immediately after wearing and everything has gone well but as with all things it’s time for a real press. Now outside of some front line sewing for uniform items, I am not in any way shape or form a seamstress, so I don’t feel comfortable putting in the basting stitches keeping the sett straight then giving it a full press. Does anyone know of someone that offers a quality pressing service, while my dry cleaners do a great job on anything that is day to day I wouldn’t trust them with any of my kilts. Whether it is a kilt maker or a fellow board member that is really comfortable with the process I am in need of some assistance.
