Another Milestone Accomplishment!
Tonight, I noticed that with this post I have now reached the 4,000 post mark! 
How appropriate that it was in the "Show Us Your Vintage Kilt" photo thread (as I spend so much time there)

You know, it was only four months ago that I celebrated hitting the 3,000 post mark (well, actually I'm two days shy of the 4 month mark), but just think, I became a member of this fine forum back in May of 2006, but didn't really begin posting until 2007. It took me four years (more or less) to reach 3,000 posts, but only 4 months to post another 1,000! I find that sort of mind boggling!! 
I guess the fact is that XMTS is my 2nd home. I've been a member of many other forums over the years (heck, I even moderate a few!), but XMTS is a very special place, where I find myself spending most of my on-line time. I have become acquainted with, and have become friends with, some of the very best people one can hope to find anywhere on the internet! I can honestly say that XMTS holds a very special place in my heart! 
I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of 2011 has in store!
Here's to the rabble, my friends!
