I just tried to navigate the customs.org website but finally surrendered. Looks like textiles have a $250 limit before they become "reportable" so this shipment would certainly exceed that amount unless we all do our own deliveries. But since this is for non-commercial use we may be able to sneak out that way. I'd imagine the manufacturer would be able to assist as they must ship to US businesses. It might be easier to arrange for a US kiltmaker to receive and make the kilts, then they can deal with the importation paperwork.
But ultimately even a 60-70 yard shipment is SMALL potatoes in the world of textiles, they are used to dealing in kilometers of fabric, so I gotta think this is no big deal in the grand scheme of things.
