I keep seeing this pop up all over the internet, with the general speech about how it demonstrates the might of the Gaels of old and whatnot, but they are all on sites SELLING it, nothing historical at all. That makes me suspicious, makes me think that it is purely a modern invention for people of Scottish ancestary to buy thinking that it is a replica of the weapon that their ancestors used in battle. Does anyone know if this thing is legit? All the sites state that it is 6 ft. long and was used by the Gaels of old. Is it just a modern invention stemming from the old Highland Claymore?
