Any one use this kilt maker?

You also stated you want a mini skirt with a tartan design. Are you aware that a mini skirt is NOT a kilt? I'm not trying to be a smarty pants or sarcastic. I'm genuinely asking. Are you female and are actually looking for a skirt? Are you male and desiring a kilt? please elaborate so we can help.

I am a girl, and basically, wanted a mini skirt in tartan with the pleating, kilt inspired. The kilt skirt is how the makers described what I ordered. I didn't want a traditional skirt, as I see on the tartan websites, it's simply too hot for such a thing down here and I have absolutely no place to wear it; a mini skirt, however, is perfect.

:-( I wish I had found this page first, as I've already ordered the skirt and paid. But I'm also hoping that my worries are going to be unfounded, and come May, I'll have a lovely skirt.

As for cost, since I've seen it mentioned here, it was 170 for the whole thing, shipped. If the fabric is 100 a yard, which, is what I was told was needed, plus 70 for labor, I felt was reasonable. I'll have to take a look at USA Kilts, as suggested above.
