My own fault, a co-worker is getting hitched tomorrow and I've already cleared with him to wear my kilt on the big day. However, I question the formality as (typical with Florida weddings) the setting is casual, Cubavera shirts, and slacks if I remember correctly.

So... not wanting to upstage anyone, I was considering:

1. White shirt, tweed-ish silk-backed waistcoat, brick red silk tie, Black Watch kilt, brown fur dress sporran (bronze cantle), red flashes/charcoal hose, and my black buckled loafers.

This is the sporran, shirt, vest, and tie... if you can imagine Black Watch instead of Black Stewart... and a sporran strap instead of a chain.

2. Same as above but with my lovat green cable-knit hose (going to be really warm in those) and no tie, maybe my leather daywear sporran instead of my rabbitfur sporran.

This is the sporran, strap, kilt, and hose I'm talking about:

What say the Rabble? As I said, this is a fairly casual wedding but I still want to have a bit of respect for the kilt... wasn't planning on going to a wedding dressed like I'm pubbing.
