My SO and I made a trip up to Atlanta, Georgia this weekend and had the time of our lives. Friday night, we hashed with Southern Comfort which was an intense four miles of thick shiggy in the dark. Saturday afternoon, we met up with AH4 for an urban hash through Little Five Points and the surrounding area. Sunday, we travled up to Mountain City for the Warrior Dash. We stopped off at the Tallulah Gorge on the way up for an amazing view.

The Dash itself was much better than the one we did just a few months ago in Florida. This area of Georgia is right in the mountain. There was quite a bit of elevation change throughout the course. The first obstacle was a trek through a lake of chest high water (for me, and I'm 191cm). Then, some over-unders followed by a tire run with some junk vehicles in the way. The next was about a four metre wooden wall we had to traverse with a rope plus a bunch more. There was so much gorgeous scenery along the way. I got to admire much of it while I was huffing and puffing up some of the steep muddy hills. We were rewarded with three biers a piece which meant that I got to drink six because she's a total beer snob

The images from on course will take some time to be posted, but I'll get as much as I can up here as they become available. The Georgia clay dries pretty quickly, so the before and after shots may not look much different, but I assure you, I was a mess and had to change before getting into the car and traveling back home.

The kilt is a Sport Kilt 'Original.' The sporran is a really cheap one that I didn't mind if it got ruined. It actually held up surprisingly well.
