"White hose" is just a metaphor. One chosen because I know Jock doesn't consider them appropriate. I said that...clearly, unequivocally, in it's own paragraph...in a previous post.

Parenthetically, I suspect that some of those in the photos are cream or even yellow.

I don't get to choose...I only get to express my opinion without being called a "kilt cop."

Myself, I will always prefer diced or tartan hose. I think solid coloured hose looks too much like knee high socks and...what kind of shorts are those?!
