White Mountains are very friendly to the kilted
As some of you may know, a few months ago I talked my groomsmen into purchasing a few SWK Thrifty’s for a bachelor party weekend. Well, last weekend was that weekend, and might I say what a weekend indeed.
Living in Phoenix, I am not that accustomed to having people so freely approach me and discuss what I am wearing; however, that was a whole other story in Pinetop, Arizona. Everywhere we went (there were 5 of us total, all big guys, all kilted) people asked us our heritage, if we were some sort of entertainment, or what we were wearing. We even were asked for a group picture at the infamous Walmart. A couple of my cousins did not really appreciate the attention, but I was more than obliged.
One funny thing I noticed was that it seemed whenever we were wearing our kilts everyone we came in contact with was either Scottish or Irish.
All in all an awesome trip, and I think I have made 4 other kilt lovers.

(P.S. There are no pics as it was a bachelor party, and pictures are not part of our tradition )
