How big does a quaich have to be?
I am thinking of getting a quaich for myself and some friends to commemorate a special event. My question to the rabble: How large (i.e. dimenstions) does a quaich need to be?
Asked a different way, how much scotch can be held in a quaich? (isn't that REALLY the question???)
As I look through the infinite interwebs, I am having a difficult time visualizing the sizes. For instance, if the diameter from handle to handle is 7.75 inches and the "bowl" is 4.25 inches...what is the bowl? Is that the bottom part that is mostly flat?
Thanks!
