Geesh, Nighthawk, I looked up Green Valley Ranch and remembered that I need to renew my passport. If for some reason I venture that far East I'll keep an eye out for you. Seriously though, I might drive out to Elizabeth this weekend. I'm not sure what gremlins are lurking at home that could interfere with my weekend.

Well, I'll be at Elizabeth for sure! I'm with the Renaissance Scots. Look for the leather worker's tent in our village.

During the warmer (60F+) months of the year, I wear kilts unless there is a specific reason why I should wear slacks[1].

I work in a motobike/small engine shop that has no AC and during the summer, it gets ... warm. Real warm. I know a lot of you will cringe if I talk about wearing a SW thrifty kilt with teeshirt and sandals, but that is the only way to stay comfortable when the mercury climbs.

If I go to an event after work, I swing by the house and choose either my tank, my USAK semi-trad or my SW heavy-weight.

In the years I've been wearing kilts, I've only met one other person who kilted up for daily wear.

I guess that I walk the line... sometimes I see the kilt as an 'every day wear, do what is practical and comfortable' and other times I lean towards the 'dress nice' side...

[1] The only recurring reason to wear slacks: Mowing the lawn. I'm allergic to grass...
