    I like in order #'s 6, 1, 5, 4, 3, 2.

I like it a little dark.

#3 is my top pick. #6, #5, and #1, are all good for different reasons. I'd rather a bright green than a bright purple.

By my count we finished with 125yds double width!

Since the general consensus is for samples 1,3,6 (all with the muted accent colours) I will re-submit sample chips to Dalgliesh along with our order so to try for the nice muted balance and to avoid too harsh colours.

I'm filling out the yardage and contact info for everyone right now, will be shooting Dalgliesh an email in a while.

On my monitor the lightest green in #1 looks more like an olive. Possibly worth trying?

Personally I would vote for the darkest possible green rather than black. Not to stir the pot too much at this point
but another possibility would be to make the medium green the same width as the light green with the darkest green a bit wider.

BTW - do we need to send a sample to Matt for his collection or will the scraps from his work be big enough?

The original sample is called "Verdun" and it's a slightly greyed true "Lime" green. I tested it with a true Olive, and the stripe nearly vanishes.

I don't think we should mess with the widths of the pattern itself, now that everyone has bought in- I don't want to "bait & switch" or similar

By my count, Matt will be doing 5-6 kilts from the material, so my guess is that he'll have a decent sized piece from the off-cuts.

A good tee to go with this tartan:
