I wonder how your kilt would have gone over at a Country Music Festival?
You make a nice couple, and look happy together. Must be the kilt :-)
Rock on, and roll often!

Country music...
...hmm. Well, many of the settlers in the USA South were of Scottish ancestry. And someone surely must market "bluejean" kilts.

Re: Kilted at the Metal Show
I'm always kilted at Metal shows. Reactions are about 95% positive. Most negativity comes from drunken men wearing leather jackets in a tiny sweatbox of a venue.
Country shows are often a little bit more awkward. Hit a festival over the weekend. It was hosted by a bar/brewery where I was a regular for awhile. Of my dozen old drinking buddies, only one would risk being seen with me.

I'll be at the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival this weekend (Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for My Valentine, Three Days Grace, Seether, and others), kilted of course! I can't wait! Rock-on, Kilt-on!

I saw Alestorm in kilt, they thought it was bad***.
I usually go in one unless I know the mosh pit is going to be big. Don't want my kilt ruined in one.

Re: Kilted at the Metal Show
Ya, Nick, you need a leather kilt or a canvas kilt with lots of grommets for trial by mosh.
