A lovely couple, Anne. May Good Luck and Good Fortune be theirs.
Take care,
Ham.

Thankyou for all the good wishes, I will pass them on when they get back from honeymoon in Cyprus.
Eric is a Cameron on his mother's side, but I don't think that is a Cameron tartan - unless anyone here knows different.
I'll enquire.

Modern Hunting MacGregor if my phone's screen isn't letting me down. the one that the current clan chief made such a fuss about at one point though I believe he's relaxed his views since.

Those are really good pictures, and I'm sure everyone appreciated the dry stretch during the ceremony.

When given a choice, most people will choose.

Cheers Anne. Lovely pictures. Hope it wasn't too wet, we had a dreadful wet weekend and we're not that far south of Gretna
(Signs like that generally give emergency direction inside buildings with public access. . It's not a road sign. Some of our road signs are green and white too but ours are a darker green.)

It could indeed be a fire exit sign - the doors have the 'push bar to open' mechanism of an emergency exit. The sign is not really visible on my monitor.
MacGregor eh? From a long line of cattle rustlers. Should fit right in.
The weather was absolutely dire on the morning of the wedding - everyone was in a dither about what to do - Jeniffer's dress trails on the ground at the back but is not designed to be carried, so they were wondering how to keep it dry.
Just before they set off, however, the rain stopped, and a breeze dried the ground, so they all went in in the dry, and by the time they came out into the garden the air was still, everything was dry and fairly bright, all the photos were taken and they went inside for the wedding breakfast, and half an hour later it was pouring again.
My sister hopes it is a good omen. 'Happy the bride the sun shines on' is an old saying in my family.

I'd say someone was definitely looking out for her that day (and hopefully will be for years to come). Best wishes to the happy couple.
