In the other thread, I believe Kyle mentioned that it is a MacPherson tweed with somewhat limited availability.

This is a good point.

I threw this together today as an experiment. The top half being something I would normally wear with trousers and all this talk of shirts and summer (hot weather) kilt-wear inspired me to see if it would work for the kilt:



To be honest I hadn't thought of it before.

I think I'm starting to get the hang of this traditional thing... If it works with trousers, perhaps it will work with the kilt. Still a little matchy matchy, but thats largely due to the accessories available to me. For now...
