No worries Michael, not at all! Thank you for sharing a "snippet" of your family photos, they are wonderful! I too, have many photos of my own family taken throughout the years. Upon my grandmother's death in November 2010, my grandfather, Lewis Harvey Macpherson, passed down to me a plethora of family photos from his own family, as well as my late grandmother's family - both families emigrated to America from Scotland during the nineteenth-century. I feel so blessed and honoured that my grandfather would bestow such family "treasures" to me, as he does have other grandchildren, but he realizes and understands how seriously important my ancestry and heritage is to me. And how I plan to pass such knowledge and traditions down to my future children (yes, no wee bairns yet!).
Thanks again for sharing...perhaps "we" could begin another thread entertaining the topic of old family photos - I think it may have been done on the forum before, but so what, we could start another. Something to think about for the future.
