Thanks, all! My federal service is a combination of Army and Postal time (it all counts!).
Yeah, the "to do list." Every which way I turn I can find a project needing to be done here at home!
Congrats, Tom! 62 days will fly by in no time....

Huge congratulations to you, sir! This is, indeed, a momentous event!
I bet you'll be so busy at home, in less than no time, that you'll wonder how you had time to work!

Congratulations Brian. I agree with Ryan, "I bet you'll be so busy at home, in less than no time, that you'll wonder how you had time to work! " I have found that to be true.

A hearty congrats!!
Brian...congrats to you good man! My grandmother was a postal employee for many years...and even served as a postmaster of our town for a couple of those. I sense some hard times ahead for the USPS...so it's probably good that you are retiring now!! Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Do enjoy your retirement as time will fly by as you keep busy. I have found that I have so many projects to work on that I don't have time to even work part time in as much as I could use the extra income.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
