    I like the pleats to the sett as well.

    Most of the pleat-to-stripe possiblities look as though they would be extremely tricky.

    If you're planning to make the kilt yourself, pleating to sett is also more forgiving of minor irregularities in sewing the fell. When pleating to the stripe, all the parallel lines make my mistakes show up prominently!

    Flickr does allow linking. The easiest way is to use the drop-down menu beside the email/facebook/twitter logos. Under "Grab the HTML/BBCode," select the "BBcode" button. BBcode is compatible with XMTS. Just copy and paste the contents of the text box like this:
