Last week, my son and I were very privilaged to visit Steve at Freedom Kilts, in Victoria. These photos, were taken by my 11 yr old at the Royal B.C. Museum of Natural History. Steve is a Docent at the museum and very kindly hosted us on a personal and group tour. The photo of him and I is in front of the Museum's historical military pleated Seaforth Highlanders kilt and uniform. In the next photo, Steve is talking to a group of visitors about the history of the First Nations Peoples on Vancouver Island as well as the region's natural history. What a fabulous talk! It was also wonderful to share some time with him on a Saturday morning at his kilt shop. It was a great visit all around! Thanks, Steve!
I think that's one well deserved cheesy grin!

Ace! Was it a chance encounter or did you plan it?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose… Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
