What might strike you as weirder...

My dad, brother and I run a moped shop together where a great deal of our job is fixing smaller bikes. If you are in NE Ohio and getting a Tomos fixed, he might be that guy.

I think it looks like you and your dad blew the competition away

A bit of constructive criticism would be to reserve a lace jabot for formal evening events. It looks rather over the top with daywear. You might also try folding the cuff of your hose over a bit further to cover more of your flashes and expose more of your knees.

Not really a moped guy...but I'll keep it in mind!

    Thanks folks...

I kinda expected comments that the lace was too formal. Trouble is, I really dislike wearing neck ties. Everything from "everbody wears them" to "egads, they are boring and ugly" to "they are part of a social uniform and I'm a rebel."

I'm still looking at other alternatives...

As for the hose, I didn't realize I was wearing them so high.. I'll watch out for that and keep them folded over more.

    Thanks again.

Look no further than your father! I don't think a necktie is really required for casual summer kilt wear these days...
