HEY I used to live in Edmond. Graduated from Memorial as a matter of fact! I will definitely be at the Tulsa Highland games, it's too much fun to miss and several of my friends are in a really good pipe band that plays there every year. We will definitely have to figure out a kilt night at some point. int:

Greetings from NW Missouri. Moved up here a year and a half ago from Cleveland, OK. Shame about the heat down there.
Don't know how long you've been in Bixby, but I can recommend two Celt friendly pubs in Tulsa: McNellie's Public House on 1st street, downtown. They have the largest beer selection in Tulsa (over 300 with an amazing amount being on tap) and Kilkenny's Irish Pub in the Cherry Street district on 15th. Kilkenny's also has a very good Sunday brunch.

Yes sir the heat is BRUTAL! I mostly kilt it up around the house...because I'd die outside at this point! Hopefully it cools down by mid-September for the Highland games. Thanks for the recommendations. I love McNellie's (food is pretty good too) and have yet to make it out to Kilkenny's, but it is on the list, just have to get some free time from work and school.
