You'll not catch me without knickers. I have my reasons.
-
I usually wear something, but have and might again go 'regimental'.
-
I'm indiscriminate about underwear. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.
-
Normally I'm commando, but have covered up upon occasion.

I never said anything about sexual harassment or assault! I had a girlfriend who had to endure months of harassment at work by a boss and to be quite honest I do not think we are talking about the same kind of issue at all. Are we really saying women are 'sneaking a peek' out of sexual intent??
Maybe we need another term for kilted men who are on the receiving end of unwanted attention?
Yes that term is sexual assault. Intent of what they are doing does not matter it is still sexual assault. So your friend did nothing about the harrasment and now someone else should suffer for it?

I've said it many times and I still stand firm:
I don't care what *consenting* adults do... but don't just grab or look.
Anyone who tries to touch my husband or his kilt will be hearing it from both of us, and we'll physically restrain anyone who just tries.
I believe everyone has a right to their space, and personal privacy of themselves. My husband doesn't want to deal with that crap, and it should be respected -- he shouldn't have to hear "it's no big deal, what's the harm?"
The harm is that his rights and wishes aren't respected and essentially are being brushed off.
That's what angers me more than anything.

That's not anything to be proud of.

There was a time, when I was a teenager, when guys used to do much the same thing to girls and get away with it, apart from a slap around the face. Getting slapped didn't really hurt that much anyway (oh, what a giveaway). Those days are long gone, and it's not because we were young then, it's because those days would be like another world to us now, everything has changed so much. Modern teenagers would get locked up if they did what we did.
ETA: And the statute of limitations has long since run out.
Maybe there is a double standard and girls can still get away with sexually assaulting fellers, but do you really want to find out? And will your husband come through with the bail money?
ETA: And as to sexual intent, I'm not sure what you mean by that. If you mean intent to perform some kind of sex act, then that's not it, but if you mean the intent to take a look is inspired by sexual motives, then that is what it is, no matter if you say it's 'for a laugh'.

Hmm. As I said quite a few posts back this is a subject which seems to come up much more than it probably deserves. Can I assure men here that there aren't hordes of randy women out there who lose all self-control when they see a man in a kilt!
Can I also say that the main perpetrators of erm... 'exposures' tend to be the wearers themselves, especially (in my experience) those who have partaken a little too much refreshment?
What we should have more threads on is how to wear a kilt when sitting, etc. It amazes me how many guys don't even realise getting out of a low seat or a car is a different proposition when you are not in jeans. I've even seen guys squatting with not a concern in the world what they are showing!

Are you wearing underwear?
"What do you think?" I might respond to someone.
Or, if it's him asking I might say, "Lipstick!"
Or, if she's asking I might reply, "If you must ask then the truth might be to great a burden for you. If you'd've reached out for your answer there would likely be a new understanding present."
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

I believe that if anything is worn under the kilt or not is in EXACTLY the same proportions as if you asked "the question" to women/girls/females who are wearing skirts (or dresses). Some do wear something under it, some don't and some do wear something sometimes and don't wear something other times.
With the kilt this all stems from the Army which is why it is called going "Regimental".
It grips my sh!t when people ask me "the question". Why are people interested in my skivvies (or lack thereof)? Nobody asks me when I'm wearing trousers! It seems to be (for them) my business if I'm wearing trousers or their business when I'm wearing one of my kilts.
The last time a woman asked me (at work) I replied that I would ask her the same question the next time that I saw her in a skirt (or a dress).
