I am an elementary school teacher, and I usually wear my kilt a couple times a week (I always wear something under it at school). One of my female students (age 9) lifted the front once- lucky I was not regimental!

Does that student lift the skirts of any female teachers? I cannot even imagine somebody doing that!

( years old? Where did she learn such behaviour?

Probably learned about it on one of those seedy internet forums. They talk about kilt lifting all the time ;-)

I wish my wife had such a laid-back attitude. She banned me from wearing a kilt to a family braaivleis (barbecue) at the weekend and also banned me from mentioning it to anyone (even our daughter’s father-in-law, whose birthday it was).
It was so cold I would probably have worn jeans anyway. But next time, ban or no ban, it will be the kilt again.
Apparently my daughter and her mother-in-law were both rather nervous that I might expose myself.
They and my wife are three of a kind.
    Regards,
    Mike

Well, David, the first time I wore a kilt this year (the first time I was kilted in 34 years), my wife gave me a long lecture about it being disrespectful to wear a kilt “regimental” in church.
Extremely reluctantly, I put on a pair of tartan boxer shorts underneath before going to the church service, but pointedly took them off before leaving for work (I work Sunday nights).
Since then I have been regimental every time I wear a kilt (I now have two).
And next time we go to my daughter’s in-laws, I will be kilted.
    Regards,
    Mike
