Found a new fitness helper. My new father-in-law is trying to get the family members that are able to join him on some bike rides. The goal is that next year he wants to get several of the family members on the week long GOBA bike ride here in Ohio. It involves a week of rides form 30-50 miles a day touring various towns and regions of the state. He also is looking for a new riding companion on his annual ride of approximately 150 miles spread over two days; though I'm not sure I'll be joining him for that one.

Nice going, Hugh! I know you feel like you could have done slightly better, but that's nothing but a wonderful motivator.
If you want to work on the mountains, come visit us for a couple weeks before next year's event. I'll get you training at 7000 ft and make it so you can devour those climbs!
Got my Dash next month and a Rugged Maniac in Oct. Would compare numbers with you, but I'm in a different age group. I'm old!

If they were the pics on my profile they are from the PA Warrior Dash. And we had a great time! I did two this year! I didn't have my camera with me at the NY one.
All the best with your races. Every Warrior Dash is different so the numbers wouldn't be good comparisons anyway. Rock it!
Hugh
