Brushed metal buckles?
My lovely other half came home from Inverness the other day with a very contemporary rampant lion kilt pin, almost 3" tall which I plan to use on my grey/ black kilt. I had planned to go for matte black or black chrome accessories but this adds a little bit of contrast. It is dulled brushed bright metal (if that makes sense... ie not gunmetal)
I would like a belt buckle to go with it. I am not a fan of thistle or saltire based designs but I do like celtic designs, main thing being brushed metal.
Any ideas or leads?
Tim.

MOST of our buckles are 'antiqued'. Some are thistle or lion themed, some are 'universally Celtic'.

I have the celtic knot, and like it very much.

I think that a brushed finish would look nice against your sett: are your ground colors; say, black and gray? just black? how much white is there in your overstriping? None? The more black you have in the sett the better the finish will look as enhancement, however, if there is more grey at the pin point, then you might want to go with a silver polish look.
