    Historically inspired knockaround kilt

I picked up these two fabrics at a local thrift store. There were 2 yards each double width and the selvages matched. As I am a big guy I was worried about not having enough fabric but I believe if I do 4 inch box pleat faces with 6 total inches inside each box pleat and 10 total inches inside the pleats for the aprons that I may be able to pull it off. Also I am planning to pleat these to nothing like WOODSHEAL has had done on a couple of his kilts. I would like these two to be a little of a mix between historical and just a good knock around kilt. Do you have any suggestions?
