Well, I made the hour's drive north to the Winston Games, and had an enjoyable (if not hot) afternoon. The temperature was near 100°F (that's about 38°C), yet there were plenty of people in attendance. This had the greatest number of kilt wearers I had seen in one location at this end of the state. Quite a few were wear casual kilts, with several Sport Kilt and a few USA kilt logos noticed. Of course, I had to choose to wear a tank.
Luckily, everything turned out comfortable.
Watched a bit of the adult games, including the weight for height competition.

Also, ran into Silent Raven, over near the vendors' area. So we had a chat, and asked a total stranger to snap our photo.

On my way out the gate, the sponsors (the Douglas County Scottish Society) tried to entice me into volunteering for tomorrow, or at least consider volunteering next year. Next year may be a possibility, as things looked fun, and I know it takes a lot to put something like this on.
