The Original MacDougall Tartan Revived
I've been working with the Dunollie Trust (MacDougalls' Clan Seat) for the past year to get the original version of the MacDougall Tartan revived.
It will be officially launched tomorrow at the Oban Highland Games. The story is here - http://www.scottishtartans.co.uk/Mac...t_Dunollie.pdf

What a fabulous gift to the clan, to Scots in general, and to the whole world to re-create something so traditional and historical! Good on ya'!

Awesome photos! The revived MacDougall sett looks far better (smarter), in my opinion, than the current sett on the market! I've always wanted to attend this gathering, perhaps next summer we will! Peter, do you have any more photos to share?
Cheers!

A friend of mine, who is a professional piper and instructor, just sent me this photo via Facebook - he took whilst attending (competed in the piping events) the Argyllshire Gathering this year. I love the wee lad's brass cantled sporran! Such a pair of smart looking lads too (complete with cromachs)!
Cheers,
