The comfort of a kilt.....
8) After a day of work I come home and if I'm wearing pants I can't wait to take them off and put on something more comfortable but when I wear a utilikilt to work I do not have the same feeling when I get home. I could wear my utilikilt all day, all night, all the time.

Agreed there, Jerry. I'm to the point where, if I get a job working at a place that accepts kilts, I will throw away my jeans and shorts. Won't need'em. I may have a pair of insulated coveralls for working on the cars, but, otherwise, I won't have anything trousered.

I agree jerry, I'd like to wear a kilt to work and sometimes do, but as a signwriter I often work with paint which would not be fun on a kilt, altho my Bear kilt is teflon coated which is a great idea.
It amazing the number of people who when I wear a kilt warn me not to wear it when up a ladder.
People seem to be more facinated about what's under the kilt than what's under a lasses' skirt.
Guess it's a sign of the times.

Backpacking
If anyone here likes backpacking, I must suggest doing it in a kilt. Hiking in the mountains with a backpack and a good stick is a thing I was lucky enough to experience last summer. A must try for anyone who enjoys backpacking

I wore my kilt to a concert in an overcrowded club. I'd been there before in pants and it was incredibly hot and uncomfortable, but in a kilt everything was different (though I did have gym shorts under it).

Jonathan, I could not agree with you more.
I have some piccies of hiking here http://www.camriversigns.com.au/home/page15.html
Hiking in a kilt redefines the word "freedom" IMHO.

I have to agree w/ you all. I can't wait to get out of trousers when I get home. I love hiking kilted and it is actually one of my greatest pleasures. I've made a few box pleated kilts that are purpose built for hiking. I'll be hiking the Huachuca Mountain trail over the Thanksgiving weekend. O'Neille

I'm getting to the stage where I almost resent not being able to go out kilted
Had a hospital appointment today for example and knew they would want to examine my abdomen
