Alex Beaton seriously injured, recovery news

We've seen Alex Beaton perform at the Ventura CA Seaside Games and last year had the pleasure of sharing a table with him at the Friday night dinner. We were shocked to hear of his injury and wanted to share the Seaside Games' information (and donation) link.

If you haven't had the pleasure, here's a link to his official website where you can hear some of his music.

Sorry to hear of Alex's fall, hoping that he will recover his mobility, spinal cord injuries can be severely disabling.
I saw and heard Alex Beaton play at Ventura Games in 2009 and I was fortunate to chat to him in person for several minutes at the New Hampshire Games in 2010.
Here's wishing Alex a full and speedy recovery.

Holy cow! That's not good! I wish him a speedy recovery indeed. I enjoy his music, and have had the pleasure of seeing him live many times.

    God Bless, Alex,

That is shocking news indeed and I hope he has a full recovery.

Alex has been a staple at our various California Highland Games for over 30 years, and when I travelled back to Grandfather Mountain he was there too!

If he's at the Shepard's Clinic, then it is SUPER SERIOUS. That guy has been a Highland game fixture since I was a kid....Best wishes all around!

I was looking forward to seeing him at Estes Park the weekend after Labor Day. Guess that is out for a while. Best of luck to Alex in his recovery.
