From the highlands of southern Oregon, otherwise known as the State of Jefferson region.
I too, can trace my heritage back to Stirling. My grandfather was born in Manitoba, his father (Peter), in Ontario, and both his grandparents (Peter & Janet, circa 1821), in Stirling .

Really a McQueen wrote "I too, can trace my heritage back to Stirling. My Gr Gr Gr Grandfather James MacQueen was the son of Peter MacQueen and Helen Grieve of Stirling. James was born 1790 but I don't have the dates for Peter at my access. Peter had a brother Robert and several sisters. Didn't know if the name Peter was from a common branch of the tree.
Peace,
Henry
