Welcome to X Marks the Scot. I too live in Melbourne Australia and have just returned this morning from a trip to Scotland, Ireland, Belgium and wore a kilt quite a bit. Had a great time in Central Brussels meeting and sharing some beers with a fellow group member. I then ran into a bunch of Scots in kilts and enjoying a bucks day, not exactly what you expect to see in Brussels but they loved them and liked the attention they drew too and we were photographed more than the Mannekin Pis was when we were near it! Kilts certainly opened doors there just like here, so enjoy wearing one and catching up with group members, you won't be disappointed.
