    New Mapleleaf tartan kilt

I finally have managed to take some pictures of my new Burnetts & Struth Mapleleaf tartan kilt.

I ordered their Edinburgh kilt in heavy weight 16 ounces from Lochcarron of Scotland. It was (and still is I believe) on sale so I found the funds to get this beautiful kilt.

Ordering was a breeze, I got to talk to Brandon personally over the phone and he was great to deal with. It fits great and have received many compliments on it.

So here are some pictures to show you all.

This was a pleasant surprise that I didn't know came on this model.

Inspired by others I have seen on here I went for a maple leaf pin for the front.

I tried to take a picture in some sunlight to show that what looks like black is really a nice dark green. It looks amazing in the sun!

So in the end great service, great price, and great kilt. I'll defiantly keep them in mind should I need something in the future.

That's a good looking kilt, for sure. Were I Canadian, I'd be sorely tempted! Regardless, it looks wonderful.

    Congrats!

Nice!! I've been looking at that for a while too but, every once in a while, practicality gets the best of me and money is diverted from the good things in life - like another kilt!

That pin is great. May I ask: where did you get it?

The kilt pin was an ebay find. Once I had ordered the kilt I started a search for something. Thanks for the kind words, I'm really happy with the pin too. It came off once already so I'm going to have to try the rubber band trick on it.
