Awesome! Thanks for all the complements and suggestions on how to do better.

Thanks for the "trick" with the pocket flaps. The button hole was a big problem, cutting it out would have mis-shaped the area and made the jacket too short. The lady that sewed for me just darn'ed it togeather. I really dont know what should be done when the button hole problem is encountered.

    Thanks again,
    Somebody ought to.

You wear your kilt in a very natural way Guinness>water. It looks great.
By the way, thanks Jock for the guidance on the tie. I was always going to ask this question but felt a bit foolish in that I did not know.

Sometimes, when doing a conversion and the buttonholes just don't quite work, you have to increase the arc to remove them. This doesn't shorten the jacket, just creates a bit of a larger opening. It can't be helped, depending on the location of the buttons.

Also, you can remove the pocket flap and move it up to where the bottom of the flap just meets the pocket opening, or make a new one with the cutoffs and make them a bit deeper to bring the top edge higher for illusion.

Overall, looks very good though. Very well put together!
