Sometimes, when doing a conversion and the buttonholes just don't quite work, you have to increase the arc to remove them. This doesn't shorten the jacket, just creates a bit of a larger opening. It can't be helped, depending on the location of the buttons.
Also, you can remove the pocket flap and move it up to where the bottom of the flap just meets the pocket opening, or make a new one with the cutoffs and make them a bit deeper to bring the top edge higher for illusion.
Overall, looks very good though. Very well put together!
