Bobbie Burns Night in Wagga Wagga
Hi to All,
As I have just joined the forum, this is probably a bit late to post this, however tomorrow night, the Riverine Club in Wagga Wagga is hosting the annual Bobbie Burns Night which is a tribute to the life and times of Scotland's great poet.
It is a black tie event with many attending (including myself) in their kilts and the ladies with tartan sashes.
The dinner will include haggis and suitable single malt whisky with great conviviality and lots of laughs.
Last year, we even had an eccentric older gent who arrived with his kilt on backwards (pleats to the front) and no one had the heart to tell him lest he take offence....
Cheers!!
