That wasn't fun.

Who knew?! Appleby's, a restaurant which typifies inoffensive suburban ubiquity, morphs into a poorly-lit, Jell-o shooting Karaoke den after 9pm. Kevin80222, GMan, Nighthawk, my lovely wife and I descended upon the pants-wearing public and (in my opinion) had a great evening. It was the first I had met any of you gentlemen, and I am already looking forward to our next gathering!

Kevin (Kevin80222), Tyler (LitTrog, standing in a hole), and Glen (GMan). Travis was wiped from a long day at the harvest festival, so he left a little early. Livingston, sadly, wasn't able to join us this time.

Any time anyone wants to do this again, I will make room on my calendar!

That was a great evening, and for the record, Kevin and I were holding up Tyler because of one to many jell-o shots.

My observations of the evening:

1. It was a great pleasure to meet each of you

2. We need to get Tyler out of the gutter and up on the curb the next time we take a picture

3. We need to catch Travis on a non-festival night so the poor guy isn't falling asleep in his Crispy Orange Chicken

4. Glen should, from this point going forward, know as the regulator of the Jello shots - here's to "Jungle Juice" (and not the wimpy raspberry shots the "younger set" was doing)

5. Men in kilts have hot wives

Here's to the next encounter gentlemen - may it not be be too long between takes...

Truer words were never spoken!! I look forward to the next one, as well! Now- off to Ft. Collins and my last festival of the season!! The Ren Scots have two upcoming clan gatherings- one for an equipment check and new member orientation- and one to have a Christmas/New Years party (otherwise known as Hogmany!) and then onto St. Patric's Day! I love what I do, but I'm looking forward to having a few months off!
