What a shame! not a kilt in sight.
I was hoping that Billy Boyd would wear his kilt again, but alas, he was wearing trousers.

The fashion police was in full force last night and they are still handing out tickets. He probably chose to be in pants and avoid the misjudgement of the them.

But what a triumph for the film. 11 Oscars. And about bl**d* time, 'my preshusss'.

I am almost (but not quite) as proud to state that I have not seen any of the films nor read any of the books, as I am to wear my kilts!

I couldn't agree with you more Al!
Each individual movie was great but as a
whole it is the best epic ever made IMHO.
Almost as good as the books.

I am sorry, Al. It's just the way I am - blame my parents for having me! That sort of thing just bores me .......... and I was the same with Tolkein and his "Hobbit"!

Tut! Tut! Tut! Ham.
I am disappointed in you.
Rob (who has read the books more times than he can remember, seen the films, has two of the DVDs and can't wait for the third to appear)

I just saw "Return of the King" a few weeks ago and am almost embarrassed to admit that I wept thru' most of the movie.
