Maybe coming back to Phoenix
Hey Guys, just had to tell/talk to someone about the chance for me to return to Phx. Some of you know I was layed off in 2009 in my position as an Radiation Therapist and despite having lots and lots of years of experince the only jobs I could find was out of state. So for the past two years I have been away from my family durning the week and drive home 5 hours every Friday to keep our relationships strong. Well finally after many applications two hospitals are looking at me. Please keep your fingers crossed

Our prayers are with you. Commuting from the family all week is not good.

Did the commute out of state thing. Very tough. All the best with the interviews. When you get the job (putting out the positive waves). We will have to have an X marks the Scot Whiskey tasting to celebrate.

Re: Maybe coming back to Phoenix
Spent 6 months last year with a 5-hour commute each week. I just started commuting again, this time for about 9-10 months. You go where the work is. At least it's better than being unemployed...especially in this miserable economy.

Not to hijack the thread but I am up for a Arizona gathering of the X marks the Scott Clans. The Tucson Highland games are coming up in November and that could be an idea. Let me know.
