    Kiltless in Seattle

So sorry for that cheesy title, I couldn't resist. As it suggests though, I am a Kilt lover with no Kilt. I've worn yardage in a sort of general kilty style often in the past and I've been a proponent of men taking back their wardrobe rights, whether for history or comfort. I am now embarking on the creation of my first "real" Kilt, as practice to see if I can feasibly build a formal Kilt for my own wedding. I hope to learn, to pass on what I have learned and to find brotherhood/sisterhood here.

You're lucky. I've heard Seattle is very kilt friendly.

    Re: Kiltless in Seattle

I Have made 4 kilt now. the 1st one did not turn out all that well- I use it for fishing, chores, and the like. but the rest turned out really nice. I suggest making a practice kilt out of cheap wool material before making a posible mistake with expensive tartan...

Hello and welcome with Ohio. Good luck with your brave attempts at diving into an attempt at a formal kilt so early in your experience.
