Okay, Meghan - you've got a piper and a priest . . . and Shamrock's right - lots of Holy Water!

Come to think of it, the bride's family was from Wisconsin.
.....omg.....I love LOTR....and....*quickly hides her Alison Krauss cd!*
Not to wrinkle my nose at anyones special day but thats just a little too cheesy for this Wisconsinite (I know. And that's hard to do.) I'm all for fantasy but things like tasteful tiny lanterns in the trees and making someone stop and go "huh....I could see fairies living in there" is better than being so obvious about it.
So elf ears....overkill? So kidding.

Re: Meghan Walker's wedding plans
Hey, I've got LotR (and the Silmarillion) sitting next to A Song of Ice and Fire on my bookshelf, underneath my rpg books and above my Star Trek novels, and I'm almost always listening to country music (I love Allison Krauss), but there's a line you shouldn't cross. I wouldn't get married in elf ears, vulcan ears, a starfleet uniform, or carrying a lightsaber/sword/bat'leth/etc. Especially not before breaking into some Brooks and Dunn!
On a side note, the biggest rednecks I've ever met live in Wisconsin. This coming from a guy whose family has lived in the South for three hundred and fifty years.
So, no elf ears for you. I do like that dress though, and a tartan sash is a great idea. Probably shouldn't pair the pendant with a tiara though. That might be a bit much.
Oh, and if you need a bass guitarist, let me know. Just give me enough time to order a proper kilt from Rocky!

Re: Meghan Walker's wedding plans
I am sure we could arrange a contingent of Scots in kilts to charge over the hill at an appropriate time???
Perhaps to deliver the ceremonial haggis???

I think we need a picture of you and your happy groom, so we can plan more accurately.

Re: Meghan Walker's wedding plans
I would be happy to volunteer to be a haggis barer for the reception. And, naturally would be thrilled to test the purity of this holy water.
