Re: Meghan Walker's wedding plans
You can DEFINITELY release dragons. I'll try to get a quote on prices so we can know what kind of expense Meghan will be looking at.

Puff the magic dragon lived by the see...
That's song's stuck in my head now, so you should play it at the wedding.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I love that cake.
I think outside is a given. Dragon nonsense aside, it just seems fitting. I'd say autumn, but probably because its my favorite time of year and I know how amazing the weather gets up there just before it snows. Or spring, but late enough in spring that plants are growing again. The end of April/beginning of May is a good time.

^agreed
and which cake did you like the best? I think I like the last one. And even though the toppers are tacky, they are kind of cute. Maybe to just hide them somewhere else. lol. like set them on the table beside the cake

Woops, only saw the first picture. The other two didn't load. Both of those are very nice. Its simple but classy, and I really love that. Yes the toppers are a little tacky, but seriously most toppers ARE a bit tacky and that's okay. They're supposed to be cute.
Just don't do Arwen and Aragorn. Seriously. I'd rather see Daenerys and Drogo than that.

Re: Meghan Walker's wedding plans
Well, this certainly got out of hand in a hurry. Priests, horses, unicorns, fairies, and doves. How about a camel?
I would definitely counsel simplicity. A few flowers--some in your hair with that dress, I hope--lanturns, and the neckless you mentioned would be very nice. When I performed a Scottish wedding for my friend, SouthernScot, we had a handfasting part in which I wrapped their wrists together with his tartan, symbollically binding them together.
Bottom line: don't spend a bunch of money on foolish things like too many flowers or expensive dresses. Keep it for a downpayment on a house. But those cakes above--not the cheesy one--would be a very nice touch!
